Thanking a teacher!

Treasure Box Designs

Hello!! Today I am sharing a card that will be given to one of my son's teachers. I have used this worm from TBD's "Back to the Books" file before but it's just so adorable I had to use it again!!!

I have the words "thank you" stamped on the inside of the card. I used a sketch from MojoMonday. I kept it simple with no stitching or extra embellishments cause I really wanted the little worm to have all the attention. That and I was a little lazy in not adding extras. Shhh, don't tell anyone!!  BUT, I did end up using ALL SCRAPS for this card!! "Giving myself a pat on the back"

OH, and I've been working hard to make my eyes on my die cuts really POP! I hope you can begin to tell an improvement in my work.

Thanks for stopping by today!!

Supplies:
BoBunny: AD LIB (all scraps)
Kraft Paper
AC card stock "coffee"
brads
various colored CS (worm)

for effect on all the die cut letters in my title.

Here is a close-up of the Easter Pal Bear from Treasure Box Designs.

SOUS: Die cut challenge - stroller
www.svgcuts.com

Welcome die cut fans!!! This Friday at SOUS the challenge is to use a die cut stroller.  For this project, I knew I wanted to do something different. So I went hunting and came up with these CUTE 3-D baby buggies from svgcuts. They were really quite easy to make. The hardest part was coming up with baby paper, which I had to go shopping for them. Oh darn!

I made three versions in different colors. They would make such cute baby shower gifts, don't ya' think?

Thanks for stopping by! Head on over to the SOUS website to see what the rest of our die cut team has come up with for this challenge!!

Supplies:

Recollections baby PP paper - Michael's

Adventure

Treasure Box Designs
Featuring Treasure Tot Nick

Treasure Box Designs has been posting a lot of smaller files featuring children playing. This one, of course, is a little boy on a scooter. Naturally, I have lots of pictures of my son playing on his scooter and couldn't wait to put this all together.

This particular picture means a lot to me, and will someday, mean a lot to my son.  The journaling reads: In February and March 2012, we briefly lived in a trailer park while waiting to move into our new home. Joscelin made friends with the neighbor's kids, age 7 and 8. During that time, these children taught Joscelin how to ride a scooter. Lots of scraps and bruises later, he became an expert by the time we left.

Joscelin was 5 years old during this time.

I followed a sketch on Pinterest for this LO.

Supplies:

Treasure Box Tot: Nick

PP: October Afternoon

Stickers and other die cuts by October Afternoon

Buttons: October Afternoon!

Since my husband's birthday is in just a couple weeks, I decided to make him a card with this cute bear from Treasure Box Designs.  I went to scrapbook.com's "color wheel" to come up with what would go with green.  I didn't want to make a monochromatic card.

NOW, go see what our lovely DT members have come up with for their projects for more inspiration. Thanks for stopping by!!
