Santa's Workshop: Diecut Challenge

SOUS Die Cut Challenge: Toys Toys Toys!!!
Santa's Workshop

Welcome back to Friday's SOUS die cut challenge: toys toys toys!!  I was lucky - I had the perfect picture to scrap of my son posing with Santa in his toy workshop!!  But, I did have to do some "research" to get the right die cut toys for this LO.  I ended up at www.svgcuts.com and fell in love with one of their files featuring nothing but "old time" toys.  The file has a good mixture of dies for both boys and girls.

And of course I'm overrun with AC Christmas paper and yes, used a lot of scraps!!  Also I scraplifted this LO from one of my pins on Pinterest.

Thank you for stopping by and hope you feel inspired to make your own LO with toys!!!

Dog, tricycle and car are all from svgcuts.com  The glittery chipboard items are from my stash.

The die and Santa nesting doll are also from svgcuts.com The flower is handmade by me.  I also used Spellbinders to accent the photo.

The title is from CC: Winter Frolic.  I used the xmas red Stickles on the word "workshop".

Supplies:

SOUS project

Is it Friday again?!!  Well, here I am with my DT project for SOUS to use to a die cut "gifts".  So, without further ado . . . here's my interpretation.

I not only used die cut gifts on my LO, but I also used ornaments as well.  Both on from CC Winter Frolic.  I scraplifted this LO from my scrapbook pages' board on Pinterest.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you are inspired too by the many wonderful projects of the die cut team over at SOUS!!

Really had a hard time getting a good solid picture of this LO.  This is actually my second attempt.

Supplies:
Cricut Cartridge Winter Frolic
PP: Imaginisce and American Crafts
Embellishments: Various holiday items from my stash
Punches (2 I think)
"Zipper" Scissors

Dear Santa:

This LO has machine stitching (my all time favorite embellishment).  All the paper, except the background, is from American Craft Collection Christmas and Merrymint.
I almost didn't have fun making this LO.  The reason being is 'cause Santa's chair color bothered me.  But, obviously I made peace with this by using a very dark chocolate brown cs.  The "Dear Santa: Define Good" showed up everywhere in Christmas 2010.  This year it's "Dear Santa: I can explain." These quotes are perfect for any pre-schooler and all those little rascals out there who have way too much energy and imagination.

Once I got past the chair color, this LO was fun to make.  I decided which die cuts I was going to use and got them all ready.  Next, I knew I needed stitching to go somewhere on the LO.  That hurt my brain just a little bit figuring that one out.  Had to walk away from this project overnight then it all came to me by morning (my favorite and best time of day to scrap).  I do LOVE stitching on just about every project I make.  TFL!!!
"Dear Santa" is from Cricut Winter Frolic.  The flower is handmade by Anna Fearer.  I have since made my own version of this flower, but I still have some left by Anna herself.

The candy cane is an svg file from myscrapchick.  The bow was bought at M's.  The ticket is a stamp from the Inkadinkado collection.
More close up of my LO.  The star and holly are svg files from myscrapchick.  Used the polka dot embossing folder on the green star to give it more character.  I used lots of pop-dots on this LO for more dimension.
