Roses Box Card

.... by SnapDragon Snippets. I purchased the file from the Silhouette Online store.

Wow . . . do I love how it turned out!

Technically this is a box card and well ... I'm not mailing it anywhere. I'm going to put it on my nightstand and pretend it's from hubby.

Tip: This file came with "backing" that you can cut to support row 2 and 3. One would need something "clear" so it could not be seen. Instead, I choose to recut the front stems in Kraft paper and glue to the back of row 2 and 3 respectfully. Kraft paper is strong and you can't see it since it mirrors the front stem.

As far as a box card, this was rather easy to put together. I really only had to make a couple "paper" choices. I did ink the edges of the flowers for effect.

KBD: For You

Hello there peeps!

If you are new to my blog then the first thing you will learn is that I love to make cards with die cuts. Especially animals!!!

I'm on the Kadoodle Bug Design team and Monday was my day to post on their blog. I'm one day behind here because I did not want to double post against another project.

There are some new things happening with this card today!! First, I fell in love with My Favorite Things website and all it's goodies! That's where the square stitching comes from, as well as the stamp.

I also picked up a bow maker a couple months ago. I used to hate making bows and refused to add them to my cards. They really do make a wonderful difference and can really add that "WOW" factor.

Thanks for stopping by today!!

January Team A Week 2

I actually wanted to go with a more "loud" title. It was bitterly cold
at the time of this photo (November 2013), but no snow yet. It was actually foretelling
because it turned out to be a frigid, snowy and icy winter for us.
Supplies:
Paper:
--BoBunny's "Sleigh Ride" - paper and stickers
Black Twine
Metal Snowflakes
Dymo Label

I was hugely inspired by this layout here from my Pinterest board.

It's suppose to be a white background but my photography skills seem to have taken a few steps backwards. Ugh!

Anyway, join me the next few days as I reveal the layouts and cards I made using MCS's main kit.
