BUDDY

Hello there! Today I am sharing with you a layout I did following the sketch from MyScrapsandMoreSketches.

I really went back in time for this one. My son was two in this photo (he's now eight). So I dug around in my stash until I could find cute and cuddly boy paper. Wasn't TOO hard. LOL

Thanks for stopping by today.

"I'm cute" is a brad and present from my sister.

Supplies:
Paper
--Echo Park and others (I forgot)
Wooden embellishments
Stickers (various places too)
Shaped Die cuts

Sorry my supply list is so vague. Really don't remember where most of this came from.

Mr. & Mrs.

Hello and welcome! Today I get to announce that I'm part of the PauseDreamEnjoy DT team. It is a "link party" DT with a new theme every Friday. Very easy, wide open themes. Great way to see other crafters and for people to see you.

I am also submitting this project to the Die Cuttin' Divas challenge for this week. The challenge being "weddings".

I made this card using the title from MissKateCuttables. If you are new to my blog, then let me just say I love die cuts. I have a few favorite places where I purchase files and am always looking for new ways to incorporate die cuts into cards and pages. I even try mixing it up with the latest trends and usually find a way to fit a die cut somewhere on my project.

Supplies are listed below.

Thanks for stopping by today!!!

My CRAZY kid

Hello there! Today I am sharing with you a layout in which I am using the monthly sketch challenge from Creative Sketches.

I used papers from all over my stash. Whenever I make a layout about my son I tend to reach for the blues, oranges and reds. He is not old enough for me to "feel" that I should be making "grunge" type layouts about him.

I took this photo of my son on a family trip last summer. It was "crazy" how hard it was to take a good picture of him. He's getting rebellious about photo taking "time".

I took ideas from my sister and reached for embellishments from everywhere in my stash.

Thanks for stopping by today!

"Crazy" was made using SCAL3.

The captions are stickers from all over my stash. I have
a whole drawer full of them.

Whenever I make flags I always reach for my small scraps left
over from card making.
I never punch a large sheet of paper. Not anymore at least!

Supplies:
Paper:
--We R Memory Keepers "Quoted"
--Pink Paislee "Hello Sunshine" (background)
--Scraps (flags)
--AC Black Cardstock
Creative Embellishments - wooden gears
Brads
Stickers (all over the place)
SCAL3 (title)
Die cut arrow
Dymo Label

SOUS DIE CUT CHALLENGE: SUMMER

Hello and welcome to my blog for this week's die cut challenge: Summer! Too easy right?!

First of all I would like to explain the title, "Summer Blues". The photo was taken during the summer of 2013 and the "blues" refers to my nephew's blue eyes. I was trying to do something different with words instead of the same old thing.

Secondly, I can't tell you have much fun I had making this layout. It is loosely based on this sketch from Pinterest.  I enjoyed mixing shapes and digging thru my stash for bright colors. A while back I invested in several punches and definitely made use of them here.

Last, I went to MissKateCuttables for the sun and "summer" title. I really don't go there often enough. Her die cuts are just so fun and easy to use. The little cloud is actually from SVGCuts.

I combined Doodlebug Designs, Echo Park, and October Afternoon
on this layout. I just had way too much fun!

Sun is from MissKateCuttables.

Although the camera blends in too much to the white background,
I still really liked having it on my layout. No real rules in scrapbooking
anyway.

I dragged my sewing machine out for this. Can't quite pull
off the "messed" up sewing machine look. Oh, well.

Father's Day

Hello there!! Father's day is just around the corner. I prefer to make my cards fit the person rather than make a card only I will like. LOL

My dad was born in California but he's an untrained cowboy at heart. He likes to wear "the outfit" but can't ride a horse! He doesn't have a super, awesome, cowboy hat but if he did, I'm sure he would wear it all the time.

This card was inspired from the DT at SVGCutting Files. This site has the file rights to the Squaredy Cats line. They make such cute cards right?! This file is actually the "Texas Squaredy Cat".

I'm also submitting this to the Die Cuttin Diva's Challenge - Masculine.

Thanks for stopping by today!!

The hat, star and flower were all made with various scraps
from MME and Farmhouse.

I just wanted to say I really liked the flower. It was a bit
like putting a puzzle together. I think I'll use this
flower on other projects too.

My Dad.

Supplies:
SVGCutting File - Squaredy Cat Texas
AC Cardstock
--Brown Sugar
--Chestnut
--White
--Black
--Pale Pink
--Green

FIN-tastic day!

Hello! Today I am sharing with you a super easy card I made for the DieCuttin'Divas challenge.

I usually make much more complicated cards but aquatics are not my "thing". BUT it's always nice to be simple every once in a while, especially when I want to use up scraps. I have been following DieCuttin'Divas for a while but have not participated. That doesn't really make any sense as I love to make die cuts!

This card's file is from the online Silhouette store. Again, super easy!!!

Thanks for stopping by today.

Supplies:
Silhouette Online Store - fish card
Scraps of paper from BoBunny and Echo Park
Banner die and stamp from My Craft Spot
Gems - Paper Studio

Always Mom

I forgot to post this card during Mother's Day. I did follow this card for inspiration from Pinterest. I really like how it turned out and love both of my Mother's Day cards for different reasons.

Most of this card was made using my Silhouette, except for the border flowers which was a punch.  Stamped an arrow, added some bling and voila!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Supplies:
Silhouette Online Store
Teresa Collins 6x6 pad - Something Wonderful
Bling - various items from stash
