SOUS Die Cut Challenge: CIRCLES

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I am featuring the SOUS die cut challenge using "circles".

I will admit at first I was stumped. But then I started exploring ideas and have been really inspired by all the use of negatives on pages.

I was also greatly inspired by this sketch from Pinterest.

Finally, I used the April scrap kit I purchased from the Hip Kit Club. Wow!!!!! I believe I have found a new love in my life. Who knew, right??

Thanks for stopping by today. Check out what to rest of our fabulous DT members have come up with for inspiration as well.

The circles were designed on SCAL3.

Celebrate Each New Day

Occasionally I get asked if I sell my cards. Well, yes and no. I make them to order if someone inquires. This card was a request for parents who recently moved to Florida and are also celebrating an anniversary.

I used one of my favorite files from Treasure Box Designs - the sun!! I wanted to make this card "large and full" so I purposely have the sun and clouds sticking past the edge. Gotta go make a custom envelope now.

Thanks for stopping by today!!

Supplies:
AC card stock - cocoa
MME PP - Tangerine 6x6
My Craft Spot die and stamp
Cuttlebug Embossing folder

SOUS DIE CUT CHALLENGE - 3D

Hello and welcome!!

Today I would like to share with you my project for today's challenge with SOUS die cut team - a 3D project. We can make anything we want as long as it's a 3D project using a die cut.

SVGCUTS has a new design on their website that I simply fell in LOVE with - box cards!!! If you didn't get a chance to stop by my site last week, check it out now. I featured a box card for Mother's day then.

This one I made for my sister. Hopefully she has it by now. I used BoBunny PP called Flutter Butter, which is several years old. I thought it was perfect for this card. The only large sheet of paper you need is for the foundation. So grab your long forgotten stash!! The possibilities are endless since SVGCUTS was so nice to actually also give a blank card to work with if you wanted to.

Don't forget to stop by SOUS's blog for more inspiration!

Use any sentiment you need for these cards!

An envelope is provided and you can "flatten" these and mail them!!

Supplies:
BoBunny Flutter Butter PP
AC cardstock Vanilla
Pearls
Sentiment Stamp from My Craft Spot

Mom - I love you

Happy Mother's Day!!

A couple days ago I shared with you a box card I made for my mother. Today I would like to show you the box card I made for my MIL.

My husband picked out the hot air balloons for his mom over the flower design. Either way, these cards are SO much fun to make and super easy. You can change the sentiment and voila!! You have a cute card for any occasion.

I thought my MIL would really like the bright colors of Heidi Grace: Tweet Dreams I picked up from Joann's a few years ago. I embossed the clouds and added a couple buttons. DONE!

SVGCUTS is where you can find this file and they do such a wonderful job with a 'how to' video and pdf file. It's all the instructions you're gonna need.

P.S. You will need several sheets of paper to work with. The box itself takes a whole sheet and the rest is smaller samples.

Thanks for stopping by today!! And Happy Mother's Day to all of us moms everywhere!

Supplies:
Blue card stock: base of box
Heidi Grace: Tweet Dreams PP
Sentiment stamp from My Craft Spot

He made sure to tell me that I needed to make one for his mom as well.

Come back on Mother's Day and I'll show you that one!

The possibilities are endless. You can use
this design for any number of occasions.

Supplies:
Green card stock (base of box)

SOUS DIE CUT CHALLENGE: TREE

Hello SOUS fans and welcome to today's die cut challenge: a TREE!!

I admit that I went on the hunt thru all my favorite SVG sites for inspiration. I finally settled on this easel card from My Scrap Chick. I did tweak the eyes a little cause I really LOVE large eyes on my bears. I also cut out two extra trees with kraft paper to help the card be more sturdy.

I reached for my brand new girly paper for this card - Graphic 45 Botanical Tea. As you may know, I hardly have any girly paper much less get excited about using it. It's just plain fun!

Enjoy! Thanks for stopping by today. Please go to Stuck on U Sketches for more inspiration by our talented team members!
